Here are Taylor Swift's 'surprise' songs she should perform at MetLife

It has been announced that Taylor Swift will perform two surprise songs on every stop of her Eras tour. Other than that, the set list for this weekend’s concert at Met Life Stadium is already known.

What’s the one song everyone hopes she’ll play? The one we’ve all been waiting for? The one she’s never played?

Here’s why we’d love to hear “Welcome to New York,” along with some others that would make our night if she played them.

‘Welcome to New York’

Taylor says: “The lights are so bright, but they never blind me!” Swifites say: “Welcome to New York (New York), we’ve been waiting for you!”

‘Cornelia Street’

She lived on Cornelia Street in New York’s Greenwich Village. “‘I rent a place on Cornelia Street,’ I say casually in the car.” She really did! It was a townhouse at number 23.

‘Our Song’

It’s been two months since she played “Our Song.” Bring it back! It’s a fan favorite.

‘Back to December’

We want to hear more from Taylor Swift’s “Speak Now” album, which is rereleasing in July.

‘Dear John’

Let John Mayer get over his humiliation by playing “Dear John.”

‘I Almost Do’

This is the quintessential Swift song about longing and heartbreak.

‘Highway Don’t Care’

Having sung about Tim McGraw, Swift joined McGraw for a duet on his album “Two Lanes of Freedom” about what really matters. Here in NJ, our highways don’t care. McGraw is currently on tour.

‘Daylight’

The last song on “Lover” is Daylight, and it’s light and breezy but serious at the same time. Can’t you just imagine MetLife Stadium lit up by lit phones?

‘Bigger Than The Whole Sky’

“Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, you were bigger than the whole sky.” It’s another song about loss (of course), but it could also be interpreted as Swift receiving support from her fans.
