Apparently the Friday the 13th movie has a different psychosomatic meaning according to Dutch folklore. They believe it’s the day when a witch would trip, spilling milk on their floor with which they were going to pay her. See they are more superstitious than we are! It’s also known that wearing an orange shirt will protect you from hexes.
Whether or not orange is your color of choice this Friday, it is wearable in any sports jersey for protection and for some added leverage when on the diamond. Of course it clicks with white shoes, too – red and blue makes for smart Kansas City Royals gear that adds a little extra contrast and pop (go Royals!)

Derek may be the local veteran in the large blue, but this Friday 13th he’s got a bright orange and blue Oakland Athletics jersey.
Baseball is Derek’s favorite sport which he has been playing since his college teams of Ithaca College. He even went all the way to Trinidad with his team, All Stars, and won in 2016 nationals. They were the first college team with a Puerto Rican player that won nationals in baseball history. Derek says that away games can be much more exciting because they’re such a packed house there!
As Derek approaches retirement age, now it’s time for him to play school games again! As we gear up for his last year as one of our starters, we’re excited about what he’ll do at games next year – and maybe some years after:

The Friday 13th Green Baseball Jersey is a relatively new design. This orange colored jersey which was unveiled for the first time on the Friday 13th of July, 1989 is one of the best selling products in MLB history.
The jersey was released not only because it was novel but also because sixteen smaller manufacturers had created limited edition designs in an effort to be connected to this event so fatefully auspiciously.
