Many people don’t know about the Statue Of Liberty, but she is one of the most famous landmarks in the country. The statue was designed by Frederic Auguste Bartholdi and was built between 1884-1886. It is located in Liberty Island in New York City. The statue is made up of a copper frame covered with an iron and zinc alloy skin. The statue stands 305 feet tall and has a 95-foot arm reaching out to welcome incoming immigrants. Above her head are three rays representing the sun, moon, and stars. On her left arm is a lamp representing liberty, on her right arm is a tablet containing the inscription “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,” while her feet point towards France. There are several different versions of Lilo & Stitch costumes from all over Disney movies including this American Flag shirt from Lilo & Stitch: The Movie. This shirt features stitch wearing an American flag cape with a red star placed over his heart and blue stripes across his shoulders and arms. On his chest is written “USA” in stitches.
