This season’s Champions League group stage draw produced some mouthwatering fixtures between Europe’s biggest soccer clubs.

Group F appears to be this season’s ‘group of death,’ as every year there is a so-called ‘group of death’.

As part of this group, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, and Newcastle all play each other home and away to determine who advances to the next round.

All four teams will face a challenging test, particularly Newcastle on its long-awaited return to European football, but fans of all four teams will have the opportunity to visit some of European soccer’s great stadiums.

Harry Kane will return to England for the first time since he left Tottenham Hotspur for Bayern Munich in the summer after being drawn in Group A alongside Manchester United, Copenhagen and Galatasaray.

A repeat of one of the Champions League’s most iconic matches is also set to take place between Bayern Munich and Manchester United.

It is difficult to forget the team’s famous comeback victory against Bayern Munich in the 1999 Champions League final.

As last year’s winner, Manchester City has avoided some of Europe’s toughest sides and will be confident of progressing.

As a result of avoiding Europe’s top teams in Group B, Arsenal fans will be delighted to see their team in the Champions League.

As Real Madrid looks to add to its record 14 trophies at the European Cup, it has been drawn with Napoli, Braga and Union Berlin in Group C.

It has yet to be confirmed what the competition’s fixtures will be.

The 2022-23 UEFA Men’s Player of the Year trophy went to Manchester City’s star striker Erling Haaland, who scored goals at an unprecedented rate during the season and was the Premier League’s top scorer.

Sarina Wiegman was named UEFA Women’s Coach of the Year for 2022-23. She won the European Championship with England in 2022 and led England to the Women’s World Cup final in 2023, where the Lionesses lost to Spain.
